In other words: knowledge, abilities and talents. It's what determines how good you in your field of work, your profession, at what you do. A given list of skills is strictly tied with the world/reality you are playing in. Preparing that list is one of the most important (if not the only one) tasks of the Game Master who wants to use this system in his own setting.
Skill level ranges from 0 to 8, where a score of 1 and 2 classifies you below average, 3-4 average , 5-6 means you're an expert, and a master for 7-8. A skill level of 0 does not disqualify you from making the test - an adventurer can always try using his stamina or concentration points.
